:(
It seems that my laptop's power supply fault has reached another level. The Charging Pin has fallen out and now I have no way to charge it.
For the last two years or so, the pin in the centre of the hole where you put the charging plug in has been sort of loose. It would not stay in the middle. This caused some problems whilst it was not the end of the world - I could simply just hold the laptop upside down so that the pin was in the right place, insert the charger, turn the laptop the right way up and then fiddle around so it got a good connection.
However, a few days ago I got a nasty suprise; it stopped charging. I picked the laptop up to investigate and heard a rattling.
Not good.
After being up quite late the night before, we were happy to get up in the morning to go to zackupan(typed here phonetically in english). my correspondantes father gave us a lift to his school, where a coach was waiting for us. after about two our coach journey through rolling picturebook countryside on typically polish, bumpy winding motorways, as we passed numourous people trying to make their living by selling random tourist craft stuff and the side of the road from decreptid caravans etc.
again you get to enjoy my amazingly bad typing :D
ok. so today we first had lessons with the pupils - i had franch - which was pretty cool - talking about skiving school and why students do it - it was really good fun - everyone made me feel involved and i really enjoyed it I also had biology which was quite boring because it was less inclusive. th epolish technical team who are documenting this filmed this at times and tok photoos
at the beggining of the day we were welcomed by the principle which waa amusing
today we firstly went on a tour of wawal castle and the the cathedarle as well as an exibition about what the polish moarchy had in terms of furtniture in their castle
we had a tour guide who was tour guidy
lots of dates etc
after you see one piece of furniure it looks much like the next 40 pieces etc
we did get some really cool views
one of the coolest things was clibming a really old belltower in the cathedale
because i have relativly little time to write this you willh ave to cope with my lack of grammar etc. blah
i realised to day something i found quite intersting
some people hate their computers
some people struggle so much wit thier comp[uters that they woulndt wish them on anyone
they dislike them so much that it is kind not to let people on them etc
and then they ask me "are you homesick? etc"
why would i be homesick when i can ssh home at any ytime
when i have acustomized desktop running a decent OS ready at practically any moment?
Today, I met my correspondant, Kuba at the airport, whearapon he drove me, with his girlfriend, to his girlfriends flat where we had a really nice meal of feta cheese salad.
Later we went home, I met his parents, check my mail and then went to bed.
